Two big boxes of old comics

I won two big boxes of old comics from a radio station a good while ago. There's loads of them, mostly Beanos and Dandys dating back from as far as the early 80s. They're not in mint condition, but not falling apart either.
I was wondering if there might be any market for them anywhere. I have considered putting them on eBay but they're so bulky and heavy that p&p might be more than they're worth.
It was a cool prize and I'd like to keep them or give them to somebody I know, but they're taking up too much space in my attic and kids these days seem to have no interest in these old comics!! Probably not enough sex and violence in them! :p
I'm not looking to make a huge profit (although it would be cool if I could!), but, seeing as how I ended up spending about €30 on taxis getting them from the radio station back home, I wouldn't mind getting that back.
    Any suggestions would be great!

You're right about postage - it's a killer on magazines if you're selling through eBay. I shouldn't think that they are old enough to be worth much either and, in any event, they need to be in very good condition to be of value. The only suggestion that I have is the Blackrock Market - there are several dealers there who sell comics but they won't give you much for them. Sorry! :)

I have a few early 2000ad comics..i think i have prog 7,13,24 and a couple of 100's..they're all in very good condition.
Wondering is there still a market for 'em?

Hey. Thanks J.D. I may try that market or maybe keep my eye out for other markets that sell comics.
Alternatively, I'm not really pushed about selling these comics - it's more that I don't have the space to keep them - so, if anybody would like them and could pick them up, I'd love to give them to a happy home!

Just saw this, do those boxes contain any Victor comics or annuals? Been trying to find some for ages
