I can't get over My Ex?

I was going out with this lovely guy for about a year, we were madly in love, had such great fun together, we met eachothers family and he even mentioned marriage a few times.

He told me that I was the love of his life and he had never loved any girl as much as he loved me. I felt the same. A month later he breaks it off with me, giving his "career" as the reason for the breakup. We dont have any contact anymore as I decided if he didn't want to be my b/f well then I'm not gonna let him be my friend.

I cant get over this guy, its 6 months later & I still cry myself to sleep most nights. I keep hoping that any day he will make the first move and get in touch with me to say that he misses but deep down I know this wont happen. I'm so lonely without him. I dont have any close friends to hang out with near by. I feel like I am in mourning all the time, grieving the loss of a wonderful friendship & boyfriend.

Has anybody got some advice?
