Just found this snippet in Health & Safety Review magazine today, and thought it might be of interest.
Dismissing the claim of a cyclist who, during a cycle race, was injured when his bike collided with another team s service vehicle, the President of the High Court, Mr Justice Kearns, in another interesting comment, said there is a lot of truth in the statement that sport and courts should stay away from each other . (Geary v Velo Club de Pomme and others: High Court, Dublin, January 2010)
