Connecting 2 Freeview boxes to same TV?

    Can I connect 2 Freeview boxes to one TV? The idea is that then I could record one digital channel while I watch another. Can't do this at present.

    Current setup is a Panasonic digital HD recorder + Freeview attached to standard 6 year old TV. I have a second Freeview box which I've tried to piggy back without success. Either I've done the connections wrong or I'm attempting the impossible. Any advice or comments would be appreciated, thanks.

    If you don't have 2 scarts on your tv/video [which is the obvious answer],can you not use RF into the tv for one and a splitter that ends in the 2nd box only?
    1st one you view on av scart and the other ,just tune in on it's video channel-my humax is ch36.

    Assuming you have two SCART connections on one of your Freeview decoders and that you have an RF (Antenna) 'loop-through' all you need to do is as follows;

    - connect SCART output from one decoder (A) to the SCART input on the other decoder (B).
    - connect SCART output from decoder B to the TV SCART input.
    - connect antenna to decoder A or B.
    - connect antenna loop-through between both decoders.
