Heavy Rain - Soundtrack Issue - Info

Sorry if this was posted already but I called Sony about the issue of not being able to download the soundtrack until later this week (as the reports advise on the Interweb)

Don't bother calling them. Apparently, when the soundtrack is ready, you are supposed to contact HMV who will give you another redeem code.

Sorry again if this is common knowledge!

I'd say check with Gamestop so. The guy from Sony said he got an email about it so was reading from that and he said it was a HMV exclusive but I see a few people got the spec edititon from gamestop so dunno

Yep, they told you when you paid for it, do not try to redeem the code until this Thursday evening when PSN store is updated.

Well they said nothing to me when I bought the game about any soundtrack problems, The Sony Blog advised to contact customer services number in the manual. I spoke to Sony and they said call the store where you bought it from as HMV will be issued with new redeem codes. Dunno how it will work or what proof HMV need before they will give you a code though. Better just ring them Thursday. Can nearly guarantee they won't have a clue what i'm on about!

But with you on the fact they probably won't have a clue.

Ya def gonna chase it! bad enough I can't even play the game today and my premium heavy rain theme became corrupted! Sony would want to sort all this by tomorrow and the soundtrack better be decent haha

I rang Sony on Saturday and they said they'd sort it out for me within 5-7 days. Gave me a reference number to follow-up with them if I didn't hear back.

Hope I don't get referred back to HMV as whatever about Sony, HMV definitely don't seem to have a clue. I pre-ordered there about a month ago and rang the day before release....took them ages to realise that I even had a pre-order. Then when I went to pick up the game on Friday it didn't look like they'd any held back but luckily the SE was still available on the shelves. Your man said to me...'better put back a few of these as you're not the only one to have it reserverd'!

If I'd realised that Gamestop had the SE as well I would have went there instead as that's the only reason I went with HMV.

OK...end of rant!

They never mentioned it to me at all. Mind you the woman serving me seemed to be new - she didn't seem to know how to work the card machine and initially tried to charge me double

Got an email back this morning from SCEE-UK giving me the code.
Sent email including the original code, and PSN I registered with,.

Have the soundtrack downloaded now - not much to write home about - but still it was included and I hate being done by logistics

Anyone have their save game erased after downloading the soundtrack? After I download it last night I went in to resume my game and I was right back at the beginning. My save file was no where to be seen on the xmb. Very weird!

Once it's downloaded can you transfer it to other devices or is it just on the PS3?

Yeah you can transfer it to devices no problem, it has all the album art and artist data there as well.

Anyone have any favourite tracks? I love 'The Chase' myself and 'Painful Memories'.

I didn't get it witht the special edition, but I downloaded it from itunes but I must say my particular favorites have to be "Painful Memories", "Redemption" and "Before the Storm"
