Great Lunar Halo On Sat night

    Anyone else see this?

    I was in Cork and the sky was really bright. Neve noticed a Halo like it before.
    A couple of people mentioned it to me also.

    I wish I had my camera, at the time

    Didn't see it on Saturday night but last night it was stunning, almost like a painting.

    Yeah I took a look at it through a spotting scope on Saturday (no filter though) and with the naked eye last night, quite impressive

    Yeah I was in West Cork on Saturday night, and any time I went out of the pub for a smoke I was lookin at it. Awesome it was.

    I took this with a Camfone.Always awe inspiring to look at the moon with the naked eye,if only i had a scope:(et-moon-560.jpg!

    Lol Old'N'Cranky, I got it from this really weird looking guy,He asked me would i buy it for scrap as He could not even phone home on it!:)

    I can't even go out for a late night cycle these days without someone taking pics!!:rolleyes::p
