I hope they've checked the tide timetables - that part of the beach is covered at high tide !

Don't worry, checking the tide was one of the first things we had to do! Low water is in the early afternoon on 1st May. You can leave the wetsuit and snorkel at home.

Ha Ha - Nice one Dusty Bin. I know that beach well and that map is certainly heading way out no matter what the state of the tide :D

I'm sure you won't have to go that far on the day though. You will probably get a little bit wet though. There's a small stream going into the sea along the beach and there can be a good flow on it if the mouth of it is not blocked. If it is blocked you will hardly notice it. Enjoy it. I'll probably be there that weekend but am so slow I won't be entering (I'm sure the tide would definately be in by the time I reach that part):(

Just looking at that map again - you may actually join the beach after the stream - hard to tell from the map.
