As far as colour goes, Its really up to yourself there. I prefer the tan.,

Both of them are really good performers and have their own good and bad points,

the Ares has a really cool take down feature that doesnt require any tools and it has a quick change spring system but has a unique gearbox design.

The G&G strips more like the CA/Dboys and requires tools but its advantage is, it uses a lot more standard parts and if it ever breaks or needs upgrading, that wont be a problem as you'll have a wide range of compatible stuff.

i have the ares version and i love it dearly..lovely feel and weight, the field takedown on it is a cool feature as is the quick change barrel

Sweet stuff, Looking to get back into Airsoft. Havnt been in a while. This might kick me up the hole and get me in gear again.

Is there a long/short version or just all the one size ?

Personally i am a big fan of long guns, although i could just say that because I am sick of using small ones...
