The most eagerly anticipated Dance Music Event of the year in the
Treaty City is finally here with the last pieces of the line up
announced live on Spin South West last Friday.
After over 100 entry's received the first 3 winners of the Balance New
Talent Sessions who get to play with the world's No. 1 Techno Dj Dave
Clarke at the huge Streetlfife Party in Dolans Warehouse this Friday
    5th March have been announced.
Streetlife's Paul Webb who hosts Balance (the biggest regional radio
dance music show in the country!) on Spin South West each Friday used
the shows last hour to play mixed from Victor John Junior, Ms Shelly
and Joe Godfrey. The 3 winners will join the line up headed up by Dave
Clarke one of dance music's most legendary figures.

This first Streetlife Party of 2010 will lay down a marker for big
party's in Limerick with a a huge event spanning over all the area's
of the Dolan's Complex. Topping the bill in the Warehouse with his
first Limerick Show in 7 years is the
world's No.1 Techno Dj Dave Clarke where he will be joined by Viva
Music 's Dan Sykes & Paul Webb while in the transformed upstairs
room, the aforementioned winners will all get to showcase the skills
that brought them in ahead of the pack.

Dave Clarke is a regular headliner at the world's biggest dance
festivals, host of the white noise radio show with over 1 million
listeners a week around the world this will be Dave Clarke's first
Limerick show in 7 years and Tickets are on sale now at Empire Music,
DolansTicketmaster outlets nationwide and on the door on the night.

One of the most respected (and idiosyncratic) techno DJs and producers
in the '90s,Dave Clarke began his music career as a hip-hop DJ in the
mid-'80s, shifting to acid house and later rave near the end of the
decade. He began recording for Stress (as Pig City) in the early '90s
and also appeared on R&S, XL, and his own Magnetic North Records. By
the mid-'90s, he had gradually shifted away from rave to a brand of
straight-ahead techno with the ferocity of hardcore yet the sublime
feelings of classic Detroit techno. A series of three singles named
"Red" gained fame during 1995-1996 (the last went Top 40 in the U.K.),
as did his ferocious DJ sets. Demagnitized, a compilation of his
earlier material on Magnetic North (with additional tracks from
Cristian Vogel, DJ Hell, and others), was released in 1995.Clarke's
phenomenal album debut, Archive One, appeared in a year later on
Deconstruction. Clarke also mixed two volumes of the crucial electro
compilation series Electro Boogie for Studio !K7. A handful of other
mixes followed, including the seminal World Service 2 which is a
benchmark for Techno mix albums. His tune selection is impeccable but
live Clarke truly is a party rocking proposition .

Hugely in demand all over the world, legendary Headline slots at Irish
    festivals like Homelands and Planet
Love have ensured that though his appearances in Ireland have been
    few, they've always been unmissable.

Dave Clarke plays Dolans Warehouse on Friday 5th March from 10pm Tickets on
sale now from Empire Music, Dolans, Ticketmaster & on the door on the night.
