Hair Disaster

    Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me with this one. I usually go to Peter Mark to get my highlights done. Have been blonde for the last few years. This time i decided to go back nearer my original colour mousy brown but not as dark. My sister knew a hairdresser (qualified 15 years) to come to her house a do our hairs as a nixers. I explained to the lady what i wanted. But the final result is the complete opposite. It is a very dark chestnut brown with a kinda red tint. Does nothing for me or even suits my colouring. Everyone is saying it is very different and dark. So i am taking that as it does not suit me. My question is will a salon be able to do something with it. I want to make an appointment with my regular hairdresser during the week. But as I am in totally clueless bout such things and am freaking out a little bit at the moment, could the salon sort something for me and would it be very expensive. Any advice most appreciated. Thanks

Id make an appointment with your usual salon and explain what happened and what you actually wanted. It might help ti know what colours the hairdresser used, it could make it a lot easier to fix! Hope you get it sorted! Theres nothing worse than not liking your own hair!

I'm sure they'll be able to sort it out without much of a problem. Hairdressers see this stuff all the time. No idea on the cost but I would think it might be a little pricier than normal

A bit of advice I got from a friend of mine who works in Peter Mark - Don't go in and tell them another hairdresser messed your hair up etc and ask them to 'fix it'.

My mate told me they up the price when they know you need it fixed and are in distress.

Just say "I'd like my hair to be a little lighter' and explain the colour your looking for.
