i'm 16 living in north dublin and looking for part time work. i handed in CV's to music shops but they're never looking for staff. i don't mean to sound fussy but i don't think i would be up for supermarket work.
i can work weekends, tuesdays and thursdays.

if anyone knows if ANYTHING is going, please let me know.
    much appriciated, Ema.

Most music, video, etc... shops only employ over 18's (have to be over 18 to selll 18's DVD's, etc...), supermarket is probably you're best bet.

Definitely just bite the bullet and go for the supermarket jobs. You'll be doing well to get any job at all nowadays, particularly since you're under 18, so you can't afford to be ruling out Dunnes, Tesco's, etc. They usually have high staff turnover, and they often hire people your age also, so they'd be your best bet by far.

Go for anything you can get! I started off working in Tescos, thought I would hate it but I made some great friends there, plus I loved the money. Don't have to be over 18 to work in game/music shops as I worked in gamestop since I was 17... another good place to try as they are lovely to work for!
