    Hi all,
I'm planning on doing the womens 10km mini marathon in Dublin this June and need to invest in a good pair of runners for training. Haven't done much exercise in a while so they'll probably mainly be for walking. I have flat feet and feel like my feet roll in when I walk yet I seem to wear out my shoes on the outer edge of the heelconfused.gif. Can anyone recommend a good pair of runners? Thanks in advance!

I already posted this in Fitness and they recommended I give this forum a go. If you're recommending particular shops I'm from the west but am in Dublin from time to time!

    Thanks in advance

To get a shoe to suit its usually recommended you go to a good running shoe shop and get a gait analysis done. Basically they'll look at how your foot strikes the ground and from that can give you advice on the type of shoe. There are many and varied types of shoe for different feet.
The two good shops I know are in Dublin - Runways in Parnell St and Amphibian king in Bray but I think someone here mentioned shops in Limerick and Cork. Try google 'Gait Analysis' and you might find a place close to you.
