Hi, I'm new to this but didn't know where else to turn. Married just over 2 years my husband came home a few days ago and told me he is miserable, its complicated I have since discovered he has been having a very close friendship with a woman at work that I knew nothing about, he deletes all texts and call logs from his phone, puts his phone on silent and hides it when I'm around. He has agreed to see a councillor but I was wondering could anyone recommend one, I know there are loads out there its just hard to know who to pick. I feel we need an appointment v quickly ie Monday or Tues. Thanks for help

Is he a little depressed. I feel that you are blaming yourself here. First I would send him to the G.P and see whats bothering him, It might not be the Marraige that needs help. It could be something that he is dealing with.

    Best of luck

Thanks for all the replies, I do feel like I am questioning everything about myself now but really not sure how to deal with it all. It all seems so sudden to me even though he said he has been unhappy/miserable for 18 months. The friend at work also concerns me even if nothing happened physically I feel emotionally betrayed. Discussions about her are off limits at the moment and I am so scared of pushing him away further that I haven't asked questions. Hopefully this will be an issue we will deal with in counselling. I'll keep in touch. In the meantime if anyone else has any advice I'd love to hear it.
