Guys as some of you are aware there is a new 'Tech Help' forum for Motoring. This is aimed at serious DIY'ers and people in the trade to seek help with specific problems.

It's not so much a "private" forum as just a forum one that requires registration. The registration is really just to confirm that you know it's more of a specialised forum than the general motors forum, and to stop unsuitable threads being started by people wandering in from a Google search.

This is how it was requested to be set up and it seems to have worked so far.

If people don't agree with this, then feel free to start a thread in the feedback forum and we can take it from there.

I dont really understand the procedure for wanting access to a new forum, hey Im a newbie

Anyway, I would like to have a forum like that. I would hope that in the next few years that I could start doing some good DIYing.

Would this involve doing a fullish service in the car also?
