I bought the Pioneer DEH-P8100BT and am having it fitted later this week, I can't wait to give it a workout.
My question is there seems to be an official Pioneer interface to connect the new HU to the steering wheel controls.
The dealer reckons they're useless, the internet seems to be iffy on them.
Has anyone changed the stock HU and found a reliable interface for connecting the HU to the controls?
I'm especially interested to hear from anyone with a Pioneer or Sony HU as they supposedly use a similar interface.
