Go to the theatre / comedy show etc..
For the cinema option, I think Green Zone (released 12th March) or Alice in Wondrerland 3D (released 5th March) would be good.

I voted for pretty much everything as I am easily entertained.

Could coffee evening be substituted for tea? Just for those that don't drink the evil caffeine...

I was going to suggest an outing for that in the Cork Cinema Nights thread. I was thinking of Sunday the 14th for an afternoon showing. Maybe I'll see how this works out now before stealing Kingtut's thunder. :p

Also if anybody was thinking of the comedy night, Karl Spain is in City Limits on the 12th & 13th.

Go ahead and use your cinema thread :) I just added it to the poll as an idea, you are the cinema trip organiser ;) similar story to the photowalk, I put it as an option in the hope that *cough* deRanged *cough* will organise it, it's his baby after all.

Oh and that is a great movie!

it's that I organise photowalks sometimes, and it's about time I organised one again. kingtut is giving me a very subtle hint to get on with setting one up :)
ironically I was planning one anyway.

online is a bit of craic, you get to be intimidating while laughing!
its a bad idea though cos if you win money on a game, you just keep playing it until its all gone, very dangerous

Ive won a couple of hundred euro from poker in the last year....really satisfying when you are winning :D

    Dinner was orgasmic! :)

I always try to make sure my events do not clash with another one however the date is always whatever gives us the biggest crowd, most people in this forum are not in CIT however as you know yourself everyone is welcome to this regardless of whether they are a student or not etc etc :)

Have you got a thread set up for yours? Are non CIT people welcome to it?

Ha ha well it is a fair point that a beers organised in the CIT forum would probably be only for CIT people however as I mentioned I can't avoid clashing with your meetup if the date people pick is the same as yours.

Plus, this is already being organised so you are not allowed have the same date as me or there will be slaps :pac: ya going for tea today?

the week of paddys day is no good for me. will be heading up the country.
can something be arranged for some weekend? all us weekenders need something to look forward to.

I personally think that a date should be decided and stuck to. I'm sure there are people on here who don't have the 'luxury' of having to move their social calendar around to fit everything in, because their social calendar is extremely limited (like mine!).

Choose an activity, a date and go with it. Simples! :D

Nah, IMO it's the worst 'night out' one could possibly have! I use the words 'night out' in the loosest sense...
