    For pistol shooting - in Ireland at least - this is not a particularly relevant video. (It was the first thing someone shot in it)

    Whereas we do use hollow point rounds for target shooting it is only because of the bullets tendency to utterly destroy itself on impact - e.g. against a steel target

    This was borne out by the range inspector who stated that he would prefer to see hollow point centrefire rounds used against steel targets in centrefire competitions as it negates the possibility of a ricochet.

    In terms of hunting I have no opinion or experience but the video did start with pistol shooting so I thought it warranted comment.
