    Hey guys i was on JSB from may last year and it just finished up there last week. I understand you need to be on JSB or JSA for nine months in order to be eligible for BTEA. My question is seeing as i wont be starting college till september and my JSB just finished will they still allow me to apply?

    To get the BTEA you have to be in receipt of one of the qualifying payments at the time you make the application. Therefore, to qualify for BTEA for a course in September you would have to immediately apply for JSA, be deemed eligible and receive payments.

    well i applied for JSA as soon as my JSB stopped. so hopefully i dont have to start the term of nine months again

    good, i was getting worried. I had to postpone going to college for a year cause i couldnt afford it, so im counting on getting the BTEA this year
