    Recently I joined the "Secret Melbourne" group on Facebook.

    The 40,000+ members makes the secret part a bit questionable. Nonetheless there is some interesting info on there and you can post questions and get pretty quick responses from locals in the discussion section.

    I got 4 detailed replies to a query in 12 hours. Looks good for finding tips for bars, restaurants, events, etc

    There are a number of others too:

    - Secret Sydney
    - Secret Gold Coast
    etc.

    Just thought I'd mention it in case someone finds these useful.
