Mods, I know it's not strictly hunting/shooting item but I do use it to make trapping related items! (Plus I don't have a bleeding notion which other forum to put this in). So if it's OK can ye leave it here a while please.

    Hi folks,

The hose/pipe coming out of the petrol tank and going into the "thingywotsit" has gone and cracked on me. Am without generator now and got some things need doing. Any ideas where I'd get a replacement hose/pipe, was bought in Aldi/Lidl/.

    ATB,

    John

Yep, bring a bit of the damaged pipe with you to a motor factor and get a suitable length of fuel line. Don't forget spare/new hose clips.

    But, what's a motor factor please? :o

    :D

A non-main dealer/non-franchise shop that sells service parts and tools to the motor trade (and the general public that know what they're doing).
Tractor/farm machinery places will carry fuel line too.

Halfords too, if there's one within reach.

The place where you buy spare parts for your tractor (e.g filters, motor oil and fuel lines:D)

Any Autofactor's will have petrol pipe and they sell it by the length. Cheap.

My Son and I did a good bit of Hot Rodding and Oval Track racing in our time.

Partway, Tuam Rd, Galway should be able to help you and there is another car parts dealer in the same area, you could also try HSS Tool Hire on the Tuam Rd as they repair their own hire plant. All are on the left side of the road between the two roundabouts on the way out of town
