    Howyas

    Im thinking of gettin an audi A4 and it needs a couple of repairs. I need to get a new air flow meter and the electrics for the elecric windows and the trip computer needs doing. Is there any were out there that does this cheaper than a main audi dealer????

    Before you buy the car, are you sure it's just the MAF that's the problem? If so, the cheapest way is probably to get one online (ebay or the like) and fit it yourself - it's a very quick, easy job. The other two sound more like jobs for an auto electrician - Hamiltons just off Camden st are good and not too expensive.

    Yeah it's the air flow meter. Are there dif ones for dif models or all the same. Thanks for the help I'll look them up in the morning.

    Why are you buying a car with numerous problems? You'd need to be getting a real bargain. What's the year/engine/mileage/spec/price?

    You could be looking at silly money to sort the trip computer problem. Windows could be needing a control unit too.
    Is it just the MAF sensor? Could be coil packs(if petrol) or a combination of both or a number of other issues. I would run a mile tbh
    You will need to take the part number off the side of the existing MAF sensor or enquire with dealer or get it off audi parts system which many vw/audi owners have, to find another on Ebay.
