These were the double-disc editions with the so-called enhanced versions on disc one, and the original, unprodcessed originals on disc 2. Saw them available in HMV henry St. Strangely enough, they were all out of Attack of the Clones.

There are other DVDs included in this deal but I didn't note them. They are also available for €7.99 each.

Do you know if the original Star Wars movies, in these double-disc editions, are letterboxed? I imagine they are, but just checking.

Yeah letterboxed with Dolby Stereo Surround sound.

    Cheers. ;)

I'm still waiting, impatiently, for the original Star Wars trilogy to be released on DVD without alterations in anamorphic widescreen, but I dare say I'll be left waiting. The originals on Blu-ray would be better, but I'm keeping my expectations more realistic, i.e. a DVD release.

It'll happen, have faith! Probably to help promote some big SW product(s), like the DVDs for RotS.

The DVDs in this sale are pretty cool, if you're a big SW fan. Having a direct comparison between the original and most recent versions is nice!
