Does this apply to us poor unfortunate iPhone customers?

O2 are giving nothing to their loyal customers as usual. This bs is just them running scared as they are about to lose their exclusive rights to the iPhone shortly. Although given what passes for "competition" in this country, vodafone won't to doing any real deals either. Hopefully they'll forgo o2s 18 month contracts, even when you're just changing price plans.
