I have heard that if you need run of the mill treatment, such as basic fillings etc. that this place offers their services at a heavily discounted rate on the basis that procedures are carries out by students, under supervision of a professional...

Anyone any experience with this? Is it ok, and how cheap is it compared to a regular dentsit?

    Thanks.

You have to place your name on a waiting list.
I think this these are closed at the minute however.

The work is good but takes longer. I think the price is approx 50% cheaper but not sure exactly.
Don't worry about waiting lists. If you really want to be seen there, just keep calling them every month and you will get in.

The work is cheap and will be done very well. But you need a lot of time on your hands, expect 2 hour appointments and treatment to last months or longer depending on what you need done. Phone appointments staff there are eventually you may get seen, would be easier to go to a normal dentist though

Got all my work done there and it's great but daydreamer is right, appointments are long and waiting lists can be quite long too depending what you're looking for. Ring them up and see but if you're looking for immediate treatment then you're better going to your own dentist.

Jesus, I went there thirty seven years ago and I still have the nightmares.
The supervisor kept coming over ( but obviously not often enough) and saying reassuring stuff like " Ah, thatsmuch better, Mr. Wolffe, you almost have the hang of it now.........."

    I am not joking,

    Signed,
    Gummy
