    Hi,
If anyone is interested, I must clear up some space as I'm having my 2nd baby so decided to sell my ACCA books rather than throwing them away and buy a little present to the new arrival. I know some papers have to be updated regularly but some others won't have many changes. So here is what I have. they'd be course notes, practice questions & past papers book and revision kit.

    F6, 2008 - Kilkenny Irish variant
    F7, 2007 - BPP Irish variant
    F8, 2008 - BPP
    F9, 2007 - BPP
    P1, 2008 - Kaplan
    P2, 2009 - BPP & Independent Colleges
    P3, 2008 - BPP
    P4, 2009 - Independent Colleges

Let me know if you are interested. I will include my notes if you wish, which some friends found really helpful.

    Hi Busy Bee

Would you mind if i also offer some acca books for sale on your thread?

They would be F8 Irish and F7 International from 2009

I am going to do P2 with Griffith College Cork - can i ask how you found it yourself? From general reading it sounds fairly intense? Would you have any advice??

    Thanks

Online, no problem about the books.

As for P2, as anything else, only studying hard should pay off and having a good lecturer. I failed it back in June but honestly I know I didn't do enough practice questions then and one thing that lecturer didn't do as much is the questions type 2 & 3 about standards. Make sure you do lots of them.

It is not an easy paper if you don't like reporting, which was my case, was never confident with it but if you understand the principles and standards, it makes it much easier. The 2nd time around I took revision classes in a different college and I think the 2 lecturers were different and what I missed from the 1st one I got it with the 2nd one. I think Liam Doran has classes in Cork too. He's good and funny and explains things very well.

Oh the other thing I learned while running out of time trying to learn the standards is practice practice practice instead and you'll learn them then. you'll stuck on the 1st question and look at the answer but eventually you'll get it!

If I can do it, anyone can, so good luck!

    Hi

The books I have for sale are

F7 International Kaplan (Dec 2009 exams) . Text book, exam kit, notes etc. I will also throw in the Griffith college text book - its layout is like a "slide show" format, which is very different from Kaplan. All for €50 plus P and P ( or collect if in Cork City)

F8 (Irish/UK) Dec 2009 exams - Independant colleges . Text book, exam kit and revision notes. I also have the BPP audio cd , which i found very handy in the car etc as did this homestudy. All for €50 plus P and P

If anyone interested just PM me.

Busy Bee: thanks for the advice re P2. I know i have my work cut out for me. ACCA requires such hard work. Well done to you for passing everything and hope you buy something nice for yourself as well as your little one.

    Hi

Hope no one minds if I too add some ACCA books to the 'for sale' pile. My Wife just finished (and passed) her finals(am immensely proud of her), was talking about a ceremonial chucking out of the books, thinking it might be cathartic in some way I expect. But, if someone wanted to buy them, I'm sure that would work for her too....

Shes got quite afew, for lots of different papers. A quick count seems to indicate about 12 or 13.

Anyone interested, give me a shout....
