I am looking for details of planning applications made to Meath CoCo over the past few years.
When i go to their website http://www.meath.ie/ePlan41/searchtypes.aspx
it only returns the bare details of the application, and doesn't give the actual pdf of the application itself, the location of the site, the objections etc. I have been able to get this for Kildare CoCo.
Is there something that i am missing on the Meath CoCo website?
    Thanks in advance

There doesn't appear to be any provision made for viewing or downloading the documents.

Thanks Muffler. This is what i thought, but i was wondering if there was some other link that i was missing.
So if they are not available online, does anybody know how i can get access to past planning applications.
Basically i am interested in buying a house. It was built as a bungalow with a very high pitched roof. The roof has velux windows but no dormers. It is obvious from the design (height of roof, stairs in hallway, only two bedrooms downstairs) that it was always intended to use the upstairs. But if so, why did they not put in dormers (apparently you have to have dormers for a bedroom upstairs, as firemen cannot get their equipement in via a velux).
I am concerned that maybe they planned to have dormers but planning was refused. I would only really be interested in buying the house if i had a reasonable chance of getting permission to add dormers.

Anybody know how i could see the planning application, objections and final result for a house built around 2000?
    Thanks in advance.

First of all, its possible to view previous applications in person in all the planning authorities. Take a trip to the relevant planning dept and request the files, you may have to pay a small fee. Note: it may not be meath depending on the location. There are 4 departments in county meath. Meath CoCo, and the town councils of Kells, Trim and Navan.

    but, more importantly.

You are misinformed here. You don't need to have dormers for a bedroom upstairs. Velux windows are more than capable of meeting fire regs. And, imo, in some models are superior to dormers in terms of escape.

There is no need for dormers. Nor is there need for further planning if you use velux windows. The upstairs may already be converted.
