    Hi all.

I completed my first run tonight in the C25K course. I enjoyed it.
Didn't find it too taxing. It seems like a good way of easing a beginner in.
I also had the C25K app on my ipod which helped a lot.
Looking forward to my next run.
I really hope I can stick it out as I would so much love to get relatively fit.

I did some stretching beforehand and afterwards. These stretches from youtube:

My next move is to slowly start improving my diet.
Is there a good site that will guide me with this?
Or do any of you have some good suggestions?
For example, what's good to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
What's good to eat/drink before and after run etc...?
I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

    Zak.

    Hi Zak,

Does C25k mean cycle 25K? I am a bit dozy this morning.

    Diet:
    Breakfast = porridge.
Drink = water & more water.....

After that, stay away from sugary crap, alcohol, etc.....

Just my 2 cents.......... good luck with the training.

Great advise is available on the Nutritian & Diet forum on boards. If trying to loose weight keeping a food journal worked for me, when you have to record every bit of food you eat and the number of calories it contains you tend to watch what you put ino your mouth.
