    Sorry folks but I am looking for some help. I want to get my hands on a lead for my radio so that I can plug my iphone into the radio. Bought one on ebay but its the wrong one and I can't find any to fit the quad lock.

    Might help if you mentioned the year of the passat as well as the headunit model.

    The B5.5 platform Gamma and Beta headunits dont have an aux input you have to buy a denision (or similar) to fool the headunit into thinking you have a C.D.

    I have the 07 one. I got the vw original one which is useless and was 130 euro. Parrot mki9200 is the job.

    i agree on the parrot, got a mki9100 fitted in an 08 passat and the sound is very good and its easy to use.

    Does you passat have a tape machine? What about getting one of those tapes will a jack for your ipod? I use one of those and they cost only a few euro.
