If you're aiming for an A or B at OL, you should be doing HL!

It's hard to prescribe length of answers as the Single text and poetry are split into bitty pieces. Paragraph-long answers for the 15/20 markers. A page for the longer 30markers.

For the comparative, a page each roughly for the 30 and 40 marker.

    Agree completely.

OP - it is ALL about answering the questions asked in a coherent manner. Going by length of answer is a dangerous way to judge how you are doing.

It takes as much effort and writing to get an A or B at OL as it does to get a C or D at HL.
