I know this is a nation of tea drinkers, but anyway: I just bought two glasses of Nescafe Original (100gms) for 1.42€ each at SuperValu Tralee. They were not marked as any kind of special offer, but had just the standard price tag with plenty of stock left. Normal price should be around 3.25€, so it's less than half price.

The large Kenco (200g I think) jars were down to €3.50 in Dunnes and Tesco I'm not a coffee drinker but I know a lot of people don't like the Nescafe original.

Any coffee drinker worth their salt wouldn't touch Nescafe or any other instant freeze dried piss.
Lidl sells the far superior ground coffee for prices comparable to this and its much tastier.

Nescafe original is absolutely disgusting. It's a decent price but piss poor coffee really. I always associate Nescafe with a small business or a waiting room or something. Just me though but that's a different discussion for another day.

As the poster above said: Lidl sell lovely ground coffee.

Feels like a bit of bashingon Nescafe here.
Offer sounds nice, if your only option is instant.
