7 Mar is a Sunday, should be easy enough getting to Dundalk and back to Dublin if they are getting in to Dundalk early enough (e.g. lunchtime or before.)

EDIT: Hmm seems to be a bit of a charity thing going on there! Do they welcome people popping along or not I wonder.

Paul Kimmage is with them - page on it in todays times. No information about the cycle though, its pretty much about him and the main characters.
From his article the pace won't be too hot as Les Ferdinand and Lee dixon are relatively new to it. Sat the 6th sees them travelling up the coast to croke Park so anyone out in wicklow that morning could pick them up on the way back to Dublin if they publicise their starting time

Try Google Maps Walking directions, I use them and they are quite good. Trying to follow back roads is easier if you have a GPS.
