    Hi -

I recently bought a TT/Tri bike and am looking to see if there are particular routes out of Dublin that are useful for training on (or get in a car and start from somewhere in particular?). (Im based South City).

    Appreciate any guidance on this...

    Thanks

Why would it be different to a road bike training route?

I know it's not in south dublin but the Pheonix Park is as good as anywhere but not on a weekend afternoon, try and go when it's a little less busy. Bare in mind school holidays/the Zoo.

I'm guessing you are looking for a straight smooth low traffic road to stay tucked? My advice is to get used to staying tucked on crappy busy roads... because most races take place on similar.
