400Hz on the 9000 series is a new one for an LCD! So is he absurd 10000000:1 Contrast ratio! Nice to see they havent completely given up on local dimming LED in favour of cheaper Edge LED.Nice range overall with every model getting some decent extra feature over its 2009 counterpart, the 5605 series could be a very good value telly if they get pricing right, 100 Hz and edge lit LED, the 32pfl5604 went for around 500€ last year so a 32pfl5605 for that price would be a very good deal indeed!

agreed, it looks like the value point, the current 5604 could be had for 440 or so for quite a while, with power city competing with richer sounds. As you say 500 would be good value for the new version with LED upgrade.

Be nice if there wasn't such a jump to the 7605 in the new range, if it come in at 700 with 50 off at retailers, it'd be a nice deal.

Anyone any idea when the 46pfl9705 will be in the shops/stock in dublin to view/order? Is there any idea of price range?

Just read a forum on forums av debating whether on not it will be 3D compliant - looks like Philips might have changed their mind following further testing??
