1990 Merc 190d bluefficiency

    I know there are a few Merc 190 fans here, thought this might be of interest (if it hasn't already been posted here.

    0-60 in just over 6 secs and 48mpg. Incredible.

    IIRC they actually converted a 2.6 Sportline rather than a 190D.

    Yeah, interesting project. However, they say "...jumps from 32 to 48 mpg", which is complete rubbish. I do not know what would I have to do to get so poor fuel efficiency in my 190D, as the average mpg I get out of my 190 is 49.2 mpg, so even better than they claim for the BlueEfficiency.
