quick NTFS q ...

    I have my system set up with NTFS, i can read USB sticks with FAT32 partition ....

    I am bringing some music to a mate with no net connection , Im guessing
    he has FAT32 ... will this be able to read my NTFS stick ?

    Win XP ..

    Bit of an unclear question here mate but if you're friends computer is running xp there is a high chance that he's using NTFS as his base system file system, unless it was installed as an upgrade from 98, either way it should work, if you're unsure though just copy the stuff off the stick format to fat32 and copy it back on, should only take minutes if it's 2-4 gig stick.

    NTFS and FAT32 are both readable by Windows XP - it will be fine.

    As long as it's only a low enough gig count he'll be fine. What's the gig cut off? top of my head 159gig is it? Then you would need lba enabled yes?
