2010 Tramore Spring Festival

    The annual Tramore Spring Festival will be held in O'Shea's Hotel, Tramore, Co. Waterford, on the weekend of April 9th/10th/11th., 2010, and it will incorporate the Tramore Men's ad Ladies' Inter-Counties Challenge competitions on Saturday, April 10th.
    The Festival will commence on Friday night with separate Men's and Ladies' Doubles competitions at 8.00pm and it will conclude on Sunday with Singles competitions for Men, Ladies and Youths Under-18.
    The main event will be the 2nd. Annual Damien Connolly Memorial Men's Singles.
    Entries for the Men's and Ladies' Singles will be accepted up to 7.00pm on the Saturday while the Youths' entries will be accepted at 1.00pm on the Sunday.

    In answer to a query I received - - - youths under-18 may also enter the Damien Connolly Memorial Singles on Sunday, April 11th., but remember that entries must be in before 7.00pm on Saturday, April 10th.

    Entries for the Under-18 Singles will be accepted on Sunday at 1.00pm.

    Men's and Ladies' Singles on Sunday will commence at 12 noon - - - entries must be in before 7.00pm on Saturday.

    Youths' entries will be accepted at the venue up to 1.00pm on Sunday.

    Just back from the Sunny South East after another great weekend of darts at O'Shea's Hotel.

    Briiliant darts inside and brilliant weather outside - what more could you ask for !

    Connie Finnan won the Damien Connolly Memorial Singles with a magnificent 5 - 4 comeback victory over Paddy Meaney in a memorable final.
    Sharon O'Brien defeated Martina Scallan 4-0 in the final of the Ladies' Singles while Paddy Meaney won the Youths' Singles title earlier in the day with a 3-1 win over Brian Walsh.

    Kilkenny won the "Tramore Sevens" Inter-Counties Challenge for the first time with a 4-2 victory over Wexford and Kildare retained their Ladies' title with a victory over Wexford.

    Sincere thanks to everybody who supported the annual Tramore Spring Festival.

    We will be back in O'Shea's Hotel for the 23rd. Annual Autumn Darts Festival on September 24th/ 25th/ 26th. and we are looking forward to meeting you all again.

    The programme in September will be Men's and Ladies' Doubles competitions on Friday night and the very popular Mixed Pairs Championship on Saturday afternoon.
    The Tramore Under-21 Championship will also be held on Saturday and the Festival will conclude with Men's and Ladies' Singles on Sunday.
