3/4" would be respectable enough for a .22LR at 70 yards. It's not target rifle accurate, but it's certainly not bad. What's the kit you're using?

ok fair enough. cz 452 with swift 3-9x40.

The trigger the original? A lot of guys have reported dramatically improved groups at all ranges after a replacement trigger kit's been installed.

Hmm, no ideas so, though the groups don't sound too bad for a .22LR anyway.

    Hey Fiestaman
Just wondering if you are using hunting or target ammo?.. It's just that I've had no less than three CZ 452's over the years and they all had one thing in common, they all shot extremely accurately with Winchester Super X subsonic HP and Eley Extra Plus subsonic HP Hunting ammo..

3/4" @ 70 yards is 1 MOA (Minute of Angle), which is in the ballpark of acceptable/expected accuracy for a mass-produced hunting rifle.
You've already floated the barrel and fitted a trigger kit, the next step I'd suggest would be some testing with top quality target ammunition and the use of proper heavy benchrests if you haven't already tried that.
Those 'should' tighten things up a little more, but realistically, a CZ 452 with a 3x9 scope (whilst a superb hunting rig) isn't by any stretch of the imagination a 'benchrest' rifle, and the benchrest aficionados spend an awful lot of money getting to 1/2 MOA.
