Meeting Ken Doherty tonight

    All, I will be meeting Ken Doherty tonight, he is the special guest at the Mayo Sports Stars awards in Claremorris and he will be presenting us with the Mayo Sports team of the year awards.
    What would you recommend I talk to Ken about if I get the chance? I suppose I should not mention the missed black in the masters final for the 147! When are the World Championship qualifiers? Who is he playing in the first round. I see in one of the other posts that he is back in the top 32, I wonder is that still the case after the China Open?

    Talk to him briefly, wished him luck with the World qualifier on the 4th of March and talked about how he could be playing Jimmy White. He was surprised that I knew, he said "you know your stuff"
    He hung around all night, he was even in the residents bar at the end of the night, I suppose he was getting well paid for it!
