    The xc3?

Both are similar, just Carrera uses Sram and GT uses Shimano.

If your using it on the road, I'd be getting The Gt Zum S2

    thanks for the reply kona.
yeah its the xc3, is there much of a difference between sram and shimano??? i'll be just using it to cycle a short distance to work and just around the locality so does really matter which one i choose really?!

    They both work fine.

Both will work fine, however I prefer shimano because they are not as fragile, Sram usesalot of composites in their rear mech, shimano use metal, I find that shimano shifts alot more "solid". I know others are of a different opinion.

However between the two I'd go with the carrera, its a better spec even with the sram.

Seriously, unless your using it off road, go for the Zum S2. You dont need suspention, and Suntour is quite heavy.
