Texts and emails are being sent to most but not all of the contacts in my address book telling them that I bought my iphone from this site
*snip* & how cheap it was.
This is the second time this has happened since christmas - can anyone help? I purchased my iphone from O2 by the way

Have you unlocked or customised (jailbreak) it in any way?

Sounds like a computer virus. Either that or someone has accessed your email account.

I'd recommend changing your email password on a different computer and run a full virus scan (like AVG or Avast) on the infected computer.

Did you back up your iPhone data before/around Christmas on your computer?if so it's possible as the above poster has said you may gave a computer virus.I say this as a computer virus alone wouldn't send text messages from data in your email as I don't think phone numbers are stored in email are they? So maybe like I said you made a back up of your iPhone via iTunes and perhaps this is the data that has been compromised.

I'm going to change my passwords (again) and do a full clean up of my PC. Thanks guys, I'll post again if it resurfaces. I'm still mystified as to why/how its texting my contacts though.
    Many thanks again
