    you could sell it on later and wont lose any money, which I suppose is the case with most top lenses

    Ive seen it for alot more, some people just collect them and dont ever use them

    the 50mm f1.0 is widely known to be very hit and miss....the DOF is very shallow and at F/1.0 ..... the tip of the nose is sharp and the rest of the face...well off.

    (then again ...why would you shoot at f1.0)

    The last one of these Aperture was selling was priced at a little over £2950. Makes you wonder about the condition of this one it being £1k cheaper (or should that be less expensive?)

    the last one they sold was in mint++ or like new ie never used, just admired by a collector/someone with too much money. this particular example was prob used and enjoyed but treated very tenderly!
