    Speaking realistically, I reckon the days of having seperate lenses for different things is on the way out. No doubt in the next few years (in the next 10-15 I'd say) there will be some super-camera system on the market that will do anything and everything and lenses will go the way of the old Film cameras; people will have them and use them, but their advantage over the current technology will be miniscule if it even exists.
