My 21st was a pub crawl around my local town with a few friends, great night. Anyone hear of the latest craze? Hiring or buying costumes with a theme for their 21st like star wars or some other sh1t like that. The birthday girl wants every body to go in costume whether they are 7 or 107 (and she will get very cranky if you don't turn up in costume) what a money making racket. You can hire the costume for €170 and you get €100 back when you return it in the same condition as you got it, if not they will help themselves to the €100. You can also buy them on ebay for around €70. Who started this craze?

Why do ya have to hire a costume? Surely a Blue Peter "make n do" one will do the job.

To be honest i love when people put effort into actually making their own costume rather than hiring it.Much more creative..

Why would you need to hire a costume? Have these people never heard of eBay? I would tell them to go f*** themselves if they think I'm forking out money on a costume as well as present.
