    hey guys.
Has anyone any experience of the Open university PGCE.Is it recognised by the teaching council of Ireland?
Also has anyone heard of any UK universities that provide the PGCE on a part time basis.
    any information gratefully accepted.

Yes. Google 'GTTR' which has the list of all PGCE's in england and wales and select part-time. Some of the part-time ones are distance learning that you can spread over 3 years. Some are attending classes over maybe 2 years. With all of them you have to do your 24 (ish) week school placement.

DCU here have a 2 year part time PGDE
