Do apps cost money when roaming?

Might be a silly question but do all apps cost money when roaming. I know that facebook etc will but what about accu weather etc ( going skiing so will want to check this) thanks

Anything that will need to connect to the internet to get realtime updates will cost money while roaming. Roaming is automatically turned off by default so you don't accidentally run up a large bill whilst abroad.
If you need accurate up to date weather info just enable roaming, fetch the data and switch roaming back off. Small amounts of data for apps such as accuweather shouldn't cost more than 20/30 cent max each time you use it I would imagine.
Just remember to switch roaming back off after fetching the info you need.
I regularly pick up emails whilst abroad and it doesn't add much at all to my next bill.
