    Hi
My bank contacted me saying it appears my card is being used
    online in fraudulent activities ...
anyway, im worried someone got the details from my PC ,
i regularly do a scan on my PC with AVG ... and is always clean,
no as AVG is free im sure it doesn't go that deep ...

i never visit any dodgy sites so i can't imagine my PC having spyware...
also i access the net through a proxy a lot ... cos i use RTE player, BBC player ...etc .. so sometimes i leave it on ...

this could be why they contacted me ... as i buy something on amazon from what appears to be the UK , and then play.com from IRL ...
    this could raise flags...
    ??

That could be the problem. Are you using a public listed proxy?
Would the bank give any more info?

You need to check the "fraudulant" transactions with your bank asap - are they genuine?

AVG is pretty decent, but buying anything online through a proxy is probably not a good idea.

Cheers guys, I also followed the steps outlined in the sticky

    and all ok ....

the bank wouldn't give me details , appears just flags were raised ... i reckon it must be the proxy ...

    cheers anyway..
