Sky remote record

    Has anyone used this service from sky and would you recommend it ?
    I know there is a charge for using the sms service but do sky charge your account if you go online to the tv guide section of the my sky site and set a remote record from there ?

    I tried it through their website and the app on my itouch and it worked perfectly and with no charges.:)

    Is this down for anyone else right now? Can't seem to get it to work on either via the website or iPhone.

    I've got sky in my apartment, the installer never hooked up a phone line to the box. Can I remote record by plugging an ethernet into the box? or does it have to be a phone line?

    Then can i just remote record away or do I need to register.

    Thanks (don't understand what they are saying on the Sky website at all!)
