There is some particularly hairy landings there especially in Honduras

My favourite of the lot is #7 in the Alps; Pffft we dont need a flat funway up here

I wouldn't like to have to land at Singapore Changi 20R/02L. According to Google Earth you have to hop a few metres to the left or right a few times to stay on centre.:pac:

Would love to have a look at Princess Juliana and Toncontin, some seriously crazy stuff.

Im no pilot, wouldnt even describe myself as an enthusiast compared to some of you guys, but i would have thought that Courchavel wouldnt have been the most ouistanding? many ski resorts have altiports including meribel around the corner, though mostly snow covered for ski landings. would have thought lukla would have been a far more remarkable mountaintop runway?

Inis Mór is 1585 feet on Google earth, Oirr is just under 1700' and Mean is 1770 or so.
measured between the white lines at either end of the runway.

Flew into Inis Oirr and Inis Mór. the runways are definitely not flat.

Oh yeah, they weigh your luggage and then weigh *you*. this determines where you seat in the plane

Taxiing to the Polderbaan at AMS is long enough. Cant imagine how long it would take at Macau.

Surpirsed that Paro airport in Bhutan didn't make the list. Only a handful of pilots in the world are cleared to land at it. Some pretty crazy banking involved during approach and departure round some big mountains. Search youtube for Paro approach

    +1

Beautiful airport. Got a lovely flight out of there on an ATR 42. The "duty free" is an outside street...
