    I am married, 2 kids aged 3 and 4
    wife works and earns c. €400 a week
    i have been had a mixture of being employed and being self employed for years.
    Worked Feb 2009 to Feb 2010 on c. €400 a week (normal paye)
    previous normal paye work was 2004
    would have At least 104 weeks PRSI paid since first started work (some may be class S, company director)
    currently family has outgoings of mortgage €200 a week, loan from failed business €135 pw, so it is tight here.
    Can't make out if I can get job seekers benefit/allowance/family income supplement or help with mortgage?
    Will they look at bank account- as there is activity in my accounts regarding wind down of business, but no income or assets to speak of?
