Smoldering Realities

Hi everyone, I'm a n00b around the CW scene, so please bare with me!!

Firstly I'm "Spinellie" (Characters name taken from the Canadian cartoon which ran I think from late 90's to early 00's - probs a few reruns since). Like a lot of people across the board, I like to write. I like to express myself through written publications.

I've been writing since I was around 12ish, amateur's work, I progressed and hit the Journalistic scene 17-20. I've changed careers, I'm now 21, 22 in 2 weeks. When I left Journalism to return to study, to become a Teacher, I somehow lost my writing abilities, and left it at the back of my mind. Some could say I was permanently hitting the 'writers block' wall! Writing and reading pieces of art, always supported me and I don't believe by far I don't that I am anywhere near as good as words that came from Socrates, but I like to try.

Okay two paragraphs, perfect, now you know a little about me, let me continue by introducing you to my new piece; Listening to the intro-piece on House m.d., Massive Attack kind of inspired me, those first 3 chords...

    Smoldering Realities
Blissful harmonies smolder in the air,
the rugged textures, creep out from a far,
    breathing breathing breathing,
    shudder, STOP!
let the melodies preform their concerto.
This is as far as I've gotten. Should I continue, or am I simply trying too hard? I'd like to hear you opinions and views on this,if possible. I thank you in advance :) I look forward to indulging in your creations.
